What is EcoPayz?

EcoPayz was launched in 2000, originally known as EcoCard, as a web wallet service. It was, and still is, owned by PSI-Pay Ltd, and became a FCA regulated company in 2008. It wasn’t until 2013 that EcoCard was rebranded as EcoPayz and was done so in order to differentiate between their web wallet and payment card services.

EcoPayz is accepted in 159 countries, with 45 currencies available, and offers an array of popular services.

What is EcoCard?

EcoCard, as mentioned above, is the physical card you can apply for once you open an EcoAccount with the e-Wallet service. Once you have created an account you can either apply for the EcoCard, or link your EcoAccount with a personal bank service to fund the wallet, or both. Regardless which service you opt for, no details are shared with third parties, making this a very secure payment method.

How to apply for an EcoCard

You will first need to open an EcoAccount in order to get started, as mentioned above. If you want to use this service as a web wallet you can, but it is advised to opt in for the EcoCard service too as you can then use it at online casinos that don’t accept EcoPayz, but do accept MasterCard – as it is a prepaid MasterCard payments card.

EcoCard is available in three currencies, €Euro, £GBP and $USD, and to apply you simply login to your EcoAccount, apply for the card by selecting the EcoCard tab, wait for your card to be sent to you (it will be sent to your registered address within three weeks), then activate your card using the last four digits on the card and your date of birth.

You can then use your card to make a deposit at a MasterCard participating online casino.

How to deposit with an EcoCard

Users of EcoCard can deposit in the same way they would with a MasterCard credit or debit card. Simply enter the card number, expiry date, and the three digit security number on the back. You can either enter your name if that is what is on the card, or ‘Valued Cardholder’ if you haven’t included it, in the name field.
