Scientific Games teams up with Rush Street in West Virginia
Nevada-based developer Scientific Games has entered the West Virginia online casino market this week through an agreement with its long-time partner Rush Street Interactive.
Thanks to this partnership, players in West Virginia can now enjoy popular titles by the provider like 88 Fortunes and Jin Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasures. The games will be available on the Rush Street-owned BetRivers Casino website.
In his statement regarding the agreement, the Vice President of Commercial for North America at Scientific Games, Bob Hays, noted the company’s excitement at expanding its content offering to West Virginia as it continues to extend its footprint in the legal US online casino market.
“Scientific Games is proud to partner with Rush Street Interactive, a respected and proven online gaming operator for online casinos in West Virginia and other markets,” said Hays.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with RSI as we continue to grow the exciting online casino category in the US market.”
Rush Street Interactive and Scientific Games enjoy a great working relationship, having worked together via similar agreements in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
RSI ‘excited’ to introduce SG content in West Virginia
Commenting on the deal with Scientific Games, Rush Street Interactive President Richard Schwartz said that his company is excited about being the first iGaming operator to offer Scientific Games products in West Virginia.
‘’We are excited to have partnered with Scientific Games to be the first online operator in West Virginia to bring these top-quality and much-loved casino games to our players. 88 Fortunes is already one of the most popular slot games on BetRivers in other states and we anticipate West Virginia players will love playing it online just as much,’’ said Schwartz.
The Chicago-based operator launched its award-winning online casino app, BetRivers.com, in West Virginia on April 12, 2021, through a license agreement with Mountaineer Casino.
The site has been offering a wide array of games by NetEnt and Everi Games, and with the recent addition of SG products to its platform, players can now expect to find more games and fresh content in the library.
Lightning Box is also live in WV
Lightning Box has also premiered in the West Virginia igaming market, thanks to the deal between Scientific Games and Rush Street Interactive.
Games by the Sydney-based online slots specialist went live in the state this week, via the company’s content distribution deal with Scientific Games’ subsidiary, SG Digital. The roll out marks the fourth state for the provider, having already launched in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
Lightning Box is the name behind hit titles Lightning Horseman and Chicken Fox, which can now be played on BetRivers.com.
The company’s Co-founder and CEO Peter Causley expressed the supplier’s excitement following the successful launch, saying that he was thrilled that the firm had been cleared to introduce its offering in another regulated state.
The CEO went on to say that the presence of several established operators in the Mountain State holds significant opportunities for the provider, noting that his company is looking forward to partnering with them through its content agreement deal with SG Digital.
