Golden Entertainment adopts Konami SYNKROS casino system
Konami’s SYNKROS casino management system will power all of Golden Entertainment’s newly acquired USA casinos, in a recently struck up deal.
Golden Entertainment’s purchase included five casinos which will have their management systems replaced with SYNKROS, bringing them in-line with other casinos in the group. The newly acquired casinos were:
- The Stratosphere Hotel
- Casino & Tower
- Arizona Charlie’s Decatur
- Arizona Charlie’s Boulder
- Aquarius Casino Resort, Laughlin.
Before the end of the year, the newly bought casinos will be merged with existing SYNKROS sites in Pahrump and Maryland. All the systems in the Golden Entertainment casinos will be powered from a central management system, which will enable guests at the casino resorts to receive rewards on the same loyalty card.
Synkros reliability was big drawcard
Steve Arcana, executive vice president and COO at Golden Entertainment said his company made the choice to use Konami’s core gaming systems at its four new casinos for strategic reasons. He stated the high reliability of Konami’s SYNKROS as the most significant factor considered in choosing the company’s services.
“A reliable system is imperative to build upon our reputation and enable us to deliver improved player services as we move forward with this large-scale technology replacement,” Arcana said.
“Another key factor was SYNKROS’ ability to link systems across all our casinos, which allows us to deploy one cohesive brand with a single player card and seamless bonusing capabilities.”
Two years ago, SYNKROS was chosen to provide one-card player loyalty solution to connect Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino, Gold Town Casino and Lakeside Casino & RV Park together which gives some great benefits.
- Personalized rewards
- Earn tournament entries
- Play floor-wide mystery bonus games
- Experience seamless loyalty rewards across all casinos
- Access complex management tools for slots, table games, cage & credit, analytics, finance and others with 99.9% uptime reliability
“We’ve had the incredible opportunity to demonstrate SYNKROS’ ability to grow with Golden Entertainment’s business,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Konami Gaming.
“It began with SYNKROS’ launch at Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Maryland, and since, SYNKROS has continued to demonstrate leading strength and reliability to power Golden Entertainment’s growing casino portfolio.”
